The Arya Vysya Industrialists Forum (AIAVIF) was established in 1999 with a visionary objective: to bring together Arya Vysya industrialists, fostering business growth and inspiring young entrepreneurs. The brainchild of Sri Vasudeva Rao, this idea took root through deliberations with the AVOPA Bankem chapter led by Sri. R. T Kantha Rao, Vice President, Sri M V Ramana Rao, President, and Sri J Shankara Rao, Convenor, in January 1999. AVIF's formal inception occurred on May 1, 1999, at an industrialists' meet convened at the FAPCCI premises with data provided by AVOPA office. Sri K.C.K Arya Gupta and Sri VV Sanyasi Rao, President of Arya Vysya Mahasabha, attended the meeting. After thorough discussions, Sri K.C.K Arya Gupta became the Founder President. The association was named ARYA VYSYA INDUSTRIALISTS FORUM, emphasizing individual memberships rather than businesses themselves. The forum operated from Sri K.C.K Arya Gupta's office at Himayatnagar, and objectives were framed and shared with members. Initially, the focus was on the twin cities, with plans for expansion across Andhra Pradesh later.
In mid-1999, AIAVIF was formally inaugurated at Arya Vysya Hostel, Kachiguda, with Sri T.G.Venkatesh of Tungabhadra Industries presiding and the presence of five ruling Arya Vysya MLAs as guests. Blessings from Sri Konjeti Rosaiah and Sri G Narayana Rao marked the occasion. While AVIF's activities started slowly, they included meetings, family gatherings, and memorable trips to places like Puttaparthi and bhadrachalam, with support from Vice Presidents such as Sri B V Ashwini Subba Rao and Sri Meda Narasimhulu. Leadership transitions saw Sri Lakshmaiah Shetty and later Sri Vijaya Kumar Gupta Kojuri taking the reins. Under Sri Vijaya Kumar Gupta, AVIF organized a significant convention in 2010 at FAPCCI Auditorium and released the first-ever Directory & Handbook for industrialists. AIAVIF's journey continued under subsequent Presidents, including Sri B Gopala, Sri V Suresh, Sri Vijay Kumar Shetty, and Sri G Nagendra. Presently, under the leadership of President G Srinivasulu, AVIF has gained momentum, crossing the 250-member milestone, and successfully hosting a Mega Convention in 2019 where 'DOYENS of Arya Vysya Industry' awards were conferred.
Today, AIAVIF focuses on engaging members and their families with a variety of programs, including industrial visits and speaker meetings, while setting its sights on expanding to other cities within the Telugu states. AVIF extends a warm invitation to all Arya Vysya industrialists, past and present, to join hands and contribute to the collective progress of the Arya Vysya community in the industrial sector. Sri G Vasudeva Rao has been serving as Founder Secretary since the organization's inception in 1999.
